WISE is an education-based non-profit providing educational opportunities to children, primarily girls, in remote areas of Zambia.  These girls are at high risk for early childhood marriage.  Our flagship program is a secondary school scholarship program, providing education opportunities for these children when their other option would be early marriage.

WISE currently does not have a four-wheel drive vehicle to access these remote towns.  A vehicle is critical — this vehicle will be used to transport the children to and from their towns to distant secondary schools (where they stay in dorms), to carry supplies, and to meet with local teachers and religious leaders to identify other possible scholarship applicants.  A four-wheel drive is also crucial for transporting vulnerable women to agricultural training programs.

A former UNICEF doctor has offered a Toyota Hilux to us for a fraction of its value — please help us obtain the vehicle we need in order to reach our most vulnerable children.
